personal message

Native San Franciscan (not many of us around here any more) that enjoys traveling, meeting new people, running my mouth, cooking Cajun cuisine like Jambalaya, gumbo and etouffe, outdoor activities (camping, fishing and gardening), reading, learning to salsa dance, working out at the gym trying to get my "buff" on, partying a little here and there, and personal development. Blessed with good genes (thank you Mom and Dad!), I'm holding up pretty well as I go through life.

For several years I've been on quest for spiritual knowledge, including reading books about psychics, angels, and what happens to us after we die. That is because someone I loved very dearly was killed in an auto accident and I had a hard time accepting that he was gone. I needed information, so I got it!

I enjoy being creative and enjoy expressing my thoughts and feelings in written form. For work I write frequently on black male/female romantic relationships, including many articles and advice columns for my own website and others.

In 2007 I wrote a book for singles entitled Sucka Free Love - How to Avoid Dating The Dumb, The Deceitful, The Dastardly, The Dysfunctional and The Deranged!

It's quite funny, while at the same time it is a butt kicking examination of the folly and crazy situations people find themselves in while searching for love.

In February 2008 I began hosting an Internet radio talk show on male/female relationships that you can listen to right here. The show airs on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m (Pacific Time).

Log onto my host page to hear podcasts or see what I have scheduled to talk about.

Black Women Need Love Too!

Posted August 17th, 2008 at 03:48am

On Wednesday August 20th, I'll be interviewing Pearl Jr. author of the book "Black Women Need Love Too!" This book explores the political climate and social conditioning which puts Black women at the bottom of the barrel in terms of desirability as a wife. With 70% of Black women registered in the U.S. Census as single, and bleak statistics reporting that at least half of us will never marry, this is an important topic for all of us to examine.

Pearl Jr. and I will discuss the conspiracy... (continue reading)

What Makes a Black Woman Wife Material?

Posted August 11th, 2008 at 08:50pm

I've been working for the past 18 years in the field doing all I can to help Black men and women create more rewarding romantic relationships. And since disturbing statistics on the numbers of Black women that will either never marry or will end up single after divorce are out, I thought it might be beneficial to do some research into what it is that men are looking for in a wife.

So I asked the question: just what is it that makes a woman wife material? This is the subject of a survey... (continue reading)
